New Early Intervention Options
More choices for you and your patients.
We know the topic of Regenerative Medicine has its headaches
...and here's why.
When the subject of regenerative medicine comes up, it’s impossible not to talk about stem cell therapy. However, no one talks about the challenges involved with handling and administering this form of treatment. There is a lot of misinformation confusing patients and causing administrative headaches for physicians.
Patients often see stem cell therapy as a miracle, cure-all. What they don’t realize is that current transplantation techniques that use the body’s own stem cells can be a volatile process due to the person’s age and the quantity of cells. Contrary to common misconceptions, stem cells are not the only components needed for treatment. It’s actually a combination of growth factors, chemical messengers and signaling molecules that target the body’s internal systems to repair themselves.
Additionally, the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) heavily regulates the criterion of minimal manipulation and homologous use. They require that these harvested stem cells not be altered in any way during processing, and the cells must be implanted into tissues having an identical function as the donor.
While new techniques utilize donor tissue, such as stem cells harvested from umbilical cord blood, there are other compounding issues complicating treatment. Manufacturers of these stem cell products must adhere to strict FDA licensing requirements that demonstrate proper handling and verifying appropriate steps are taken to ensure potency and efficacy.
However, with hundreds of stem cell companies manufacturing products and making eccentric claims, it’s difficult to find a solution you can trust.
Forget stem cells. Add something better.

What makes us different?
Fortunately, there are alternative treatment options that are NOT isolated forms of cryopreserved stem cells and that also meet all of the necessary FDA requirements.
Chiron’s solutions are focused on treating symptoms in the early stages of deterioration. These products are designed to help patients suffering from pain, inflammation, hair loss and sexual dysfunctions. Addressing these conditions early could prevent at-risk patients from having surgery.
Extracellular Matrix Therapy (ECM) is an all-natural treatment that utilizes powerful Growth Factors, Collagens, Extracellular Proteins and Bioactive® Molecules naturally found in human placental tissues. These placental tissue components may provide the body with the foundation it needs to:
- reduce pain and inflammation
- restore tissue and
- reduce scarring
How does it work?
Extracellular Matrix Therapy (ECM) is typically a single one-time treatment, not a series. The procedure only takes 5-10 minutes, and the patient’s entire visit will typically take 30 minutes. Most patients only require a single treatment to achieve significant results. No sedation is necessary, so patients are able to leave on their own after appropriate monitoring.
Patients may experience pain relief as soon as 3-10 days after treatment, and continued improvement over the following weeks and months. Post-treatment care is typically limited to immobilization and bracing. Some physicians also have prescribed off-loading or protected active rehabilitation.

Ready to offer?
Our goal is to provide your practice with another early intervention treatment option for your patients. Cortisone or HA injections only treat the symptoms and not the underlying condition. Become part of our ever-expanding network of partner physicians. We will connect you with patients interested in these forms of therapy options.
